Objectives To develop glutaraldehyde concentration monitor box and to determine the method of glutaraldehyde concentration. Methods The effect of interferents on this colourimetry was determined including the addition and sequence of agent A and B. The colourimetry was contrasted with the monitoring card of 3M glutaraldehyde and imitation. Results This colourimetry can quantitate in two minutes with bright coloration and quick reaction, and demonstrate the relationship of different concentration and color. The reagent was stable and the detecting cost was low with the advantage of less interfering factors. Conclusion The concentration of glutaraldehyde can be detected quickly and easily by the glutaraldehyde concentration monitor box.
