摘要
ABSTRACT We investigate a quantum battery architecture based on capacitively coupled quantum dots driven by a time‐dependent external field. The charging protocol is described by unitary dynamics starting from an initial thermal Gibbs state. We derive closed‐form analytical expressions for the time evolution of the ergotropy, charging power, effective capacity, and quantum coherence, quantified by the thermodynamically motivated relative entropy of coherence. By decomposing the stored energy into ergotropy, anti‐ergotropy, and quantum coherence contributions, we quantify the role of quantum resources in enhancing the battery performance. Our results demonstrate that coherent driving induces population inversion and non‐passive states, significantly increasing the extractable work and the effective battery capacity. We further discuss the impact of the main decoherence channels (charge noise, electron‐phonon coupling, electromagnetic fluctuations) on the practical implementation of the protocol in semiconductor heterostructures. This study highlights coupled quantum dots as a promising solid‐state platform for scalable and controllable quantum batteries.
