The methods for measuring the gelling time of fumed silica colloidal electrolyte solution

The rheological method measuring the gelling time of colloidal electrolyte generated by fumed silica has been established.Meanwhile the method guided by eye was standardized as well.By the methods,the gelling time of fumed silica in sulfuric acid solution can be well measured,which provides the support of experimental methods to the development of excellent gelled lead-acid battery.
