Objective:To study the relationship between the gene expression of advanced glycation end products(RAGE),nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)and the pathogenesis of non-ischemic diabetic foot. Methods:The full-thickness skin tissue on the foot of non-ischemic diabetic foot patients was obtained and patients were controlled with traumatic amputation, using real-time polymerasechain reaction(Real-Time PCR)and Western blotting for the detection of tissue RAGE,NF-κB gene expression. Results:The mRNA and protein expression of RAGE and NF-κB could be detected in the diabetic foot specimens, and the difference was obviously significant compared with control group(P0.01).Conclusion:RAGE and NF-κB gene-mediated oxidative stress and inflammatory response in tissue were important pathology courses on the pathogenesis of non-ischemic diabetic foot.
