ObjectiveTo study the protective effect of Ilicifoliosids alkaloid A and its derivatives on hepatic fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl4) in rats. MethodsThe rats were given CCl4-peanut oil by intraperitoneal injection for 8 weeks, then the successful model rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, respectively:the model group, the positive group(150 mg·kg-1),the HBOA group(200 mg·kg-1),the TC-2 group(200 mg·kg-1) and the TC-3 gro-up(200 mg·kg-1).AST in serum and MDA 、SOD in liver tissue were measured in the model of hepatic fibrosis induced by CCl4 in rats. ResultsCompared with the model group, the activity of serum AST in the HBOA、TC-2、TC-3 group decreased significantly,MDA in liver tissue was low and the level of SOD in liver tissue was increased in the TC-3 group;the HBOA group elevated the level of SOD in liver tissue. ConclusionIlicifoliosids alkaloid A and its derivatives can afford a better protective effect against carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatic fibrosis in rats.
