The effects of risperidone and clozapine to patients with schizophrenia's life quality.

Objective To compare the effect of schizophrenia's life quality using risperidone and clozapine.Methods 62 patients met the criteria of CCMD-3 for schizophrenia were randowly divided into groups.Risperidone and clozapine were given respectively,and had a follow up half year.Observed their effect to patient's life quality and psychiatric symptoms,PANSS were used to access psychiatric symptoms.WHO,QOL-100 were used to access life quality.TESS were used to evaluated side effect.Result There are similar result in improvement of positive symptoms and negative symptoms.But risperidone is superior in improvement of psychiatric symptoms and PANSS than clozapine.Risperidone have good result in improving the life quality.Conclusion Risperidone can improve the life quality of the schizophrenic patients better than clozapine.
