Superfine microstructure analyses of vanadium carbide in high vanadium high speed steel

摘要
The microstructure and micro-area composition of vanadium carbide in high vanadium high speed steel were studied by SEM,TEM and X-ray EDS.The results showed that due to the ordered vacancy of carbon atom the simple hexagonal superlattice V_6C_5 were formed in vanadium carbide.There were a large number of nano-corpuscules,where the contents of chromium,molybdenum and ferrum were high,specially molybdenum can be up to 20 wt.%,nailed in the vanadium carbide.
