S Curve and Autocatalytic Mechanism

Based on the principles of autocatalysis and the theory of entropy, this paper tries to discuss and attest the autocatalytic mechanism in systems which cause general S curve. From this research we draw the conclusion that autocatalytic mechanim and limiting factors in system or environment are the ultimate reasons for S curve appearing in systems. In addition, this paper proposed that autocatalytic mechanism should be treated carefully in sustainable development research.
