Engineering Plastics on the Turning Tool Wear of High-speed Steel

In this paper,PVC and several other engineering plastics are tested in the turning tests,and the tool wear and the cutting changes are analyzed.The experiment results show that,compared with Nylon,the tool wear of PVC is relatively serious,and the amount of the impurities in the material directly affects the tool wear.
