A Practical Method for Scoring the Dynamic Stability of Large Power System by Synthesizing Frequency-domain and Time-domain Prony Analysis

With the development of power system,the scale of power system has been increasingly enlarged.At the same time,the stability characteristics of large power system become more complicated.Dynamic stability becomes one of the most important stability problems.This paper presents a practical method for scoring the dynamic stability of large power system by synthesizing time-domain and frequency-domain analysis.The method uses the most popular power system analysis program which is PSASP 6.26.The method can help the power system dispatching departments to score the dynamic stability of power system and is very practical.
