Study on Prolonging Clinical Using Time of 84 Disinfectant by Adding to Stable Chemical Reagent

Objective To prolong the clinical using time of 84 disinfectant by adding to suitable stable chemical reagent.Methods The changes of effective chlorine content were determined by iodine titrimetry at the clinical using time of 0,24,48,72,and 96 hrs,and quantitative germicidal effect was detected by Bacillus subtilis in 84 disinfectant and 84 disinfectant with stable chemical reagent.Results At the 2% 84 clinical using disinfectant,under the temperature of 20° C,45-minute sterilization was completed.84 disinfectant can be maintained for 48h,84 disinfectant with stable chemical reagent can be maintained for 72h or more,the available chlorine content decreased to 900 mg /L,both of them can sterilize B.subtilis var.niger spore.Conclusions The effective chlorine content of 84 disinfectant with stable chemical reagent is more stable than 84 disinfectant in conventional disinfectant process,but the germicidal efficacy does not decrease.It can be extended to 72h to replacement use.
