Effect of Hygrothermal Treatment with High Temperature and Pressure on Electrical Properties in Epoxy Composite

The electrical properties of multi-functional epoxy(WHUT-170),TDE-85 and E-51 epoxy/fiberglass composites under the hygro thermal enviroment with high temperature and pressure were studied in this article.The results show that WHUT-170 composite is provided with high hygro thermal insulation properties.The bulk and surface resistivities of the WHUT-170 composite are 1.1×1010Ω·cm and 5.0×108Ω,respectively,after the sample treated in the enviroment of 175℃ and 140MPa for 2h,and higher than those of TDE-85 and E-51 composites by 1 order of magnitude.The dielectic constant and loss of WHUT-170 composite are obviously lower than those of the others.
