Objective: To investigate the indication, contraindication, post operative complication and operative technique undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy. Methods: The clinical data of 39 cases with laparoscopic myomectomy from January 2009 to July 2009 was retrospectively analyzed. Results: Among the total, there were 27 cases of single myoma and 12 cases of multiple myomas,including 3 cases without suturing for hemostasis. The operation time and mean blood loss were proportional to the size, number and location of myomas. The average time of hospitalization was 5 days. Conclusions: So long as the indications and contraindications are strictly followed, lapaorscopic myomectomy is effective, with few complication and little post surgery hospitalizati on, and can retain the womb,maintain normal menstruation and fertility.
