Study on the melting point of desulfurization refining slag

The melting characteristics of premelted refining slag and deep desulfurization of molten steel were studied in laboratory.The results showed that the melting temperature of premelted slag was lower than that of mechanically mixed refining slag and the effects of CaF2 and MgO on the melting point of premelted refining slag were observed.In the same conditions,the slag with lower melting point had higher desulfurization ability.
