Teaching Reform of Pure Bending Experiment on Straight Beam

The pure bending experiment of I-beam is added to the pure bending experiment of rectangular beam,and the strains of two beams are measured.The results of experiments are compared with those of the theoretical calculations,which proves that I-beam has a better bending resistance.It also increases the learning interests and the ability of students to analyze and solve practical problems.
