Study on Hydrolysis to Municipal Solid Waste(MSW) with α-amylase

α-amylase was applied to hydrolyze starch in the MSW.The degree of hydrolysis which was influenced by the hydrolysis temperature,hydrolysis time,α-amylase dosage and substrate concentration was studied.The results showed that the optimum conditions of hydrolysis of MSW by α-amylase were as follows: α-amylase dosage was 80 IU/g,hydrolysis time was 60 min,hydrolysis temperature was 80 ℃ and substrate concentration was 10%.
