지역산업의 기업간 거래네트워크 분석

In this paper, we analyze the between the flagship enterprises and SMEs based on the database of Korean Enterprise Data(Co). The comprehend 14 industries including six manufacture industries. We distinguished the subcontracting firm which supply large firms the materials, firms in inter-SMEs network and independent firms. We estimated the distribution of the subcontracting firms by their provinces. We did the comparative study of the productivity and the profitability of the regional firms by their types and by their regions. The results are as following. Firstly, the numerical order of total factor productivity is the flagship enterprises, the cooperative firms, inter-SMEs networks firms and the independents. It means that the benefits are created in the supplier networks. Secondly, the subcontracting firms are more productive than inter-SME networks firms in basic material industries, assembly -manufacturing industry, construction industry, producer service industry but the productivity of the subcontracting firms and that of the inter-SME networks firms are similar to consumption industries. The profitability of the flagship enterprises is far higher than that of the subcontracting firms. It stand for that the economic rents created in the are transferred to the flagship firms and it is not easy to improve the profitability of the subcontracting firms in regions.
