Advancement and Tendency on Phytosterol Research(I) --Fundamental research on phytosterol

Today's fundamental research on phytosterol indicates that there are three important issues which are,(1)modulating the composition and content of phytosterol in oilseeds by gene engineering;(2)discovering the mechanism of phytostenol's influence on gene expression and cholesterol's syntheisi in vivo;(3)clanifying the phytosterol's fuction in plant senescence.
