摘要
Metal halide perovskites have become popular optoelectric semiconductor materials for their properties such as optical absorption, photoluminescence, optoelectronics, and charge transport mechanism. These properties could be tuned by adjusting the crystal compositions, structures, and morphologies. Furthermore, metal halide perovskites have potential applications, such as solar cells, light-emitting diodes, lasing, sensing, and photodetectors. This chapter discusses the crystal structure, phase, and classification of metal halide perovskites. The typical properties of metal halide perovskite-based materials are emphasized in detail. Moreover, the synthesis approaches and typical applications are also summarized.
