摘要
Metal-organic framework materials (MOFs) are coordination compounds with periodic structures composed of organic ligands, which act as links through coordination bonds, and metal ions or clusters, which act as nodes. In recent years, these materials have received considerable attention from researchers, particularly in the field of catalysis, due to several advantages such as large specific surface area, high functionalization of organic ligands, and uniform distribution. Their potential applications are promising. This paper provides an overview of recent advances in the application areas of MOF materials, with particular emphasis on multiphase catalysis and photoelectrocatalysis. The advantages of MOFs, including their tunable properties, high catalytic activity, and selectivity, are summarised. In addition, we provide insights into the future research directions and expected developments of MOFs in these applications, with the hope that the material design can be further optimized to enhance their efficiency and their intrinsic application potential can be explored.
