Peptic ulcer disease in the military setting

Abstract Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is decreasing in incidence but is still prevalent within the military population. This article describes the epidemiology, pathophysiology and key clinical manifestations as well as outlining the diagnosis, treatment and complications of this disease.
