摘要
Through the work of a multi-disciplined integrated product team from several organizations a cockpit display system has evolved that strikes a balance between conflicting requirements to provide an optimal interface for the operator utilizing high performance liquid crystal displays. Among the many requirements competing for display system consideration are limited instrument panel area, many and varied types of information to be displayed, weight power and cost constraints, redundancy, image generation and optical performance, including sunlight readability and night vision goggle compatibility. The keys to the F-22 display performance are the use of active matrix liquid crystal display front end, high intensity fluorescent back lighting, high performance antialiasing drawing engine and embedded and remote processing.< >
