Relationship between Clearing Factor Lipase and Lipases in Tissues

To find the tissues from which clearing factor lipase is liberated, the relationship between this enzyme and lipases in various tissues was immunochemically examined. Lipase in heart, lung and kidney extracts were largely precipitated by antibody against clearing factor lipase. A small but significant amount of lipase in a liver extract was precipitated by the antibody while lipase in a pancreatic extract was not precipitated.
