摘要
Cobalt oxides are investigated as anode materials for lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries by means of a variety of electrochemical characterization techniques. The CoO electrode demonstrates a stable reversible lithium storage capacity of about 300 mAh g−1, even after 30 cycles. The reactivity of the cobalt oxides is attributed to the fact that the products of lithiation are in the form of nanosized products.
