Trends of the PVT-Properties of the Gas-Oil Reservoir Fluids and the Thermodynamic Effects Occurring at the Separation of the Produced HC Mixtures

Abstract The paper offers methodological approaches and describes the results of integrated use of data of production, laboratory and theoretical studies of the properties of the natural HC mixtures produced in the West Siberian oil and oil-and-gas fields. It shows that in order to increase dramatically the oil production, the optimal pressure should be defined for the first-stage separation at the booster pipeline pumping station when producing light oil with high solution gas-oil ratio.
