摘要
We read with considerable interest the systematic review and meta-analysis by Lin et al., which synthesised 28 studies involving 3573 participants to evaluate repeated low-level red-light (RLRL) therapy for paediatric myopia [1].By restricting the principal evidence synthesis to controlled trials, examining multiple ocular outcomes, and applying the GRADE framework, the authors provide a timely overview of an increasingly adopted intervention.Their findings of favourable changes in spherical equivalent refraction (SER), axial length (AL), and choroidal thickness are clinically noteworthy.Nevertheless, several methodological and interpretive issues warrant clarification.
