Ammoximation of cyclohexanone to cyclohexanone oxime over titanium silicate-1 (TS-1) is an environmental friendly process. To solve the problem of solid-liquid separation and solvent recycle that occurred in slurry bed reactor, ammoximation reaction was carried out successfully in microemulsion. Two different oil-in-water microemulsions consisting of sodium dodecylsulfate ( SDS ) /water/ammonia/cyclohexanone and aerosol -OT (AOT) /water/ammonia/cyclohexanone, as a media to produce cyclohexanone oxime, were respectively prepared, where ammoximation of cyclohexanone was reacted. The effect of reaction temperature on the ammoximation of cyclohexanone to cyclohexanone oxime in microemulsion and the effect on the catalytic activity and stability of TS-1 were investigated. The results indicate that the ammoximation of cyclohexanone in microemulsion can obtain good results, and from the effect of the reaction, the microemulsion consisting of aerosol-OT (AOT) /water/ammonia/cyclohexanone is a better one.
