Study on the Identification of Downy Mildew Resistance among Different Chinese Cabbage

Manual identification tests were made on the resistance of 6 Chinese cabbage cultivars to downy mildew during their seedling stages in the field, to select the high disease resistance materials and good hybrids. The results showed that the disease index of90- 99- 8 cultivar was 21.47, its resistance to disease was the weakest. The disease resistance of cultivar 90- 92- 4 was the strongest, its disease index was 4.52, and the resistances of cultivars 90- F3- 7- 1, 20- 14- 3, 107F- 9- 3- 1- 1, H- 20- 12- 1 were in the middle, their disease index were between 7.39 and 14.07. 6 Chinese cabbage lines showed resistances to downy mildew, and they can be selected as breeding materials.
