Functional materials are directly ejected and a maskless pattern is written with electrohydrodynamic printing technology,which proves to be an important and promising process to manufacture microelectronics.Electrohydrodynamic printing can eject smaller droplet than the nozzle diameter so that it can deposit micro-scale droplet under large nozzle size and prevent the nozzle jam.In the paper,basic principle of electrohydrodynamic printing,jet formation,jet stability,and its potential applications are analyzed and elaborated.
