Variable Step-size Incremental Conductance Used in Maximum Power Point Tracking Control of PV Power System

Solar photovoltaic maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control is a core control of small solar power sys-tem.This paper presents a novel application of a photovoltaic MPPT algorithm,the different points on the PV curve of the absolute value of the slope to determine the maximum power tracking of the step,so that the MPPT photovoltaic cells rapidly and stable non-oscillation.Matlab simulation results show that:contrast for the incremental conductance method step,fast tracking to the maximum power point(MPP) of PV cells,while a photovoltaic system to reduce the MPP in the oscillation,reduce energy loss.
