Limitations of Conventional Chinese Explicative Approach as Discerned from Explication of Lin Huiyin’s Poems

It’s very hard to determine the scope of the explication of a poetic text, for it is a complicated issue in poetry. Through analyzing some poems by Lin Huiyin, the limitations of conventional Chinese explicative approach can be discerned, the greatest disadvantages being the uncertainty of value decision and the nature of “super designation” of text explication.
