Investigation on Microstructure and Wear Properties of Nano-structured Ni-based Coating Prepared by HVAF Sprayed

Nano-structured Ni-basesd coating was prepared using AC-HVAF spraying technology,the microstructure and wear properties of the coating were investigated.The results show that the coating consists of γ-Ni solid solution and FeNi3,Ni3B,CrB2,Cr26C3,Cr7C3 phases;the coating is well combined with the substrates,and its porosity rate is about 2.37%;the main particle sizes of the coating are 50～70 nm,the parts can reach 20～30 nm;the coating has high hardness and good wear resistance.The main wear mechanism of the coating is fatigue wear.
