Effects of Zhizhu Pill Decoction and Zhizhu Decoction on P Substance in Rats

Objective To study on the effects of Zhizhu pill decoction and Zhizhu decoction on P substanc(SP) of plasma and gastrointestinal tissue in rats.Methods The rats were divided into five groups and the samples of rats were collected after orally administered Zhizhu pill decoction and Zhizhu decoction for 7 days.Results Zhizhu pill and zhizhu Decoction could raise SP in plasma and gastrointestinal tissue in dose-dependent manner.However,the effects between Zhizhu pill decoction and Zhizhu decoction were not signficant difference.Conclusion The SP increased in plasma and intestinal tissue is one of the mechanism to promote gastrintestinal movement of Zhizhu pill decoction and Zhizhu decoction.
