Hierarchical Fe-doped Ni 3 Se 4 ultrathin nanosheets as an efficient electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution reaction

Hierarchical Fe-doped Ni 3 Se 4 ultrathin nanosheets are synthesized via solvothermal synthesis and a topotactic selenization process. The prepared (Ni,Fe) 3 Se 4 ultrathin nanosheets supported on Ni foam needed an overpotential of only 225 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm −2 and a small Tafel slope of about 41 mV dec −1 .
