Governing the Halal Supply Chain using Blockchain Technology in Malaysia

This paper is a review paper that focuses on the governance of the halal supply chain using blockchain technology. From the review, it is found that the current problem being faced in the halal supply chain cycle is related to transparency, traceability, and also governing the process for timely decision-making. Despite having many authorities in handling halal related-matters, challenges still exist in the halal supply chain. Therefore, the paper is focusing into the review on how the challenges can be onvercome through the invention of blockchain technology.
