摘要
Abstract Metasurface 3D holographic display faces significant challenges in achieving realistic and dynamic presentation, due to the non‐uniform intensity distribution of the excited laser and the complexity of actively driving the metasurface. Herein, a realistic broadband dynamic metasurface 3D holographic display is realized through a flat‐top beam by dynamic wavefront shaping and active driving of a full‐space multiplex metasurface. By using a digital micromirror device (DMD) as the dynamic modulation source, the incident Gaussian light is transformed into a flat‐top beam with high uniformity, customizable spot shapes, and enhanced propagation distance. The realistic broadband holographic display is achieved by illuminating the metasurface with the shaped flat‐top beam. Furthermore, the meticulously designed metasurface enables the simultaneous multiplexing of the X‐Y plane and the Z‐depth, thereby enhancing the hologram's loading capacity. Through the pixelated amplitude modulation of DMD, multiple subset flat‐top beams are generated, enabling rapid and precise arbitrary space‐selection for dynamic modulation of metasurface holographic display. This approach realizes a realistic broadband dynamic metasurface 3D holographic display. This investigation into enhancing the metasurface holographic display performance will expedite the adoption of holography in intelligent displays, digital imaging, and precision processing.
