摘要
Fractional laser technology has revolutionized the field of laser skin resurfacing and is progressively replacing older pulsed and scanned ablative and non-ablative laser techniques. One of the major advantages of modern fractional lasers includes their ability to treat non-facial and facial regions. They can also be used in patients with darker skin phototypes and for a continually expanding list of clinical conditions beyond photoaging, rhytides, and scars. Perhaps the most compelling attribute of fractionated laser skin treatment is its association with rapid postoperative healing and a lower risk of complications. Clinical efficacy of fractionated laser treatment approaches that of older laser skin resurfacing techniques, particularly when a series of treatments are delivered.
