Effect of Stacking Fault Energy on Deformation Mechanism and Mechanical Properties of TRIP/TWIP Steel

The effects of alloying element and temperature on the stacking fault energy(SFE) were summarized.The effects of SFE on the deformation mechanism,microstructure and mechanical properties of high manganese steel with were introduced.The conditions for the appearance of TWIP effects of high manganese were summarized,and then the strengthening mechanisms for TWIP steel were introduced.
