THE RESEARCH ABOUT BIOACTIVE POLYSACCHARIDES: BETA- GLUCAN

1,3- β- Glucan is widespread in many bacteria, fungi, mushrooms, algae and higher plantsand attract attention because its bioactive and medical properties. There is a wide source of glucan, es-pecially the brewer's and baker's yeast cell walls. This paper describe 1,3- β- glucan from hereinafteraspects: the source, biological activity, glucan structure comformation, isolation and detection method,and its research actuality.
