Two kinds of isotactic polybutene-1(iPB-1)(the isotacticity is 86% and 99% respectively) were synthesized with supported titanium catalyst system. The effect of isotactic content on the crystallization at room temperature and crystal transformation of FormⅡto FormⅠwas characterized by infrared differetial scanning calorimetry(DSC),polarized optical microscope and FT-IR spectrophotometer. The results indicate that the more the isotacticity is,the higher the crystallinity is.The crystallization rate and transformation rate are also faster with the increase of isotacticity.80% of crystal transformation in isotactic polybutene-1 is occurred in 48 h,after that the transformation rate tends to slow.
