Application and Progress of Heterocyclic Compounds as Pre-functional Group in Organic Synthesis

Latent functional group has many advantages in organic synthesis. Heterocyclic compounds are very important in contemporary organic synthesis. In this paper, from the viewpoint of latent functional group, application and development of heterocyclic compounds such as furan nucleus and thiofuran nucleus used in organic synthesis as pre-functional group are introduced. And the important significance of heterocyclic compounds used as pre-functional group in synthesis of nature product is viewed.
