Compliant mechanism applied to variable curvature adaptive wing will achieve the wing shape changing continuously with different flying conditions,which has good application prospects.In this paper,by considering the material properties of the compliant mechanism and based on genetic algorithm which introduces the load path ideas,the topology optimization for a leading edge from a single material component and multi-material combination was carried out,and the result is simulated in ANSYS.Through comparative analysis,it indicates that locally changing the material properties by using multi-material combination in the optimization of compliant mechanism can achieve much better deformation requirement than that of just single material.The effect of topology optimization can also be optimized by seeking for a much wider range of material combination.
