Relationship between Cervical Lesions and Human Papillomavirus Infection

Objective To explore the relationship between cervical lesions and the infection of high-risk human papillomavirus.Methods 377 cases with cervical lesions proved by patholog were reviewed retrospectively.Of these patients,there were severe infection 109 cases,atypical squamous cell 65 cases,slight degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 125 cases,medium degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 35 cases,serious degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 30 cases and cervical cancer 13 cases.The hybrid capture II test for possible infection of the 13 types of high-risk human papillomavirus, cervical biopsy under colposcope and cervical conization were performed to those patients above.Results Of the severe infection,atypical squamous cell,slight degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia,medium degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia,serious degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer cases,there were 17,21,77,33,30 and 13 cases infected with 13 types of high-risk human papillomavirus respectively.The rates of infection were 15%、35%、61%、94%、100% and 100% in turn.Conclusion The more severe the cervical lesions are,the higher the infection rate of the 13 types of high-risk human papillomavirus.
