Improved design of braking system for EDK 300/2 railway crane made in the former East Germany

The air brake system and foundation brake rigging for EDK 300 /2 railway crane with the lift capacity of 60t,imported from the former East Germany,were described.A new braking system for railway crane has been developed.The improved design concept,the structure and calculation analysis were presented.The new braking system can meet the operation requirements.
