Preparation of 3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-aniline by catalytic hydrogenation of 3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-nitrobenzene

3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-aniline was an important dye intermediate.Synthesis of 3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-aniline was studied by reducing 3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-nitrobenzene with Raney-Ni catalyst.Put 3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-nitrobenzene which was mixed with water in high pressure reactor.3-hydroxyethylsulfonyl-aniline was prepared on the condition that temperature on 90℃,the pressure 3.0 MPa,the reaction time 4～5 h.This Synthesis method was simple and environally friendly.At the same time,the quality of the product was better.
