摘要
A new bioinspired strategy to fabricate flexible pressure sensors with touch sensitivity is reported by B. Su, W. Cheng, and co-workers on page 1886. Inspired by mimosa - a plant can close its leaves under external stimuli - a simple, efficient, low-cost, and scalable direct-molding method is proposed to yield sensitive pressure sensors, leading to the fabrication of artificial touch-sensing “mimosa leaves”. This mimosa-inspired approach opens a new route to fabricating flexible pressure sensors in a cost-effective and scalable manner.
