摘要
In this paper, a zinc air NaCI battery is designed and modeled using three dimensional finite element (3DFE) for the study of its voltage under load conditions. The electrochemistry is modeled and coupled to electromagnetic model to forecast the cell voltage drop under 3 different loading scenarios. As each loading condition was tested, the electric field gradient is depicted as well as the current density vectors inside the electrolyte and each electrode. Comprehensive models exhibit electric potentials close to observed experimental test and further help to demonstrate magnetic losses at the electrolyte-electrode interface.
