THE LANGUAGE UNIVERSE OF THE CZECH FILM "LOTRANDO AND ZUBEJDA": TITLES VS REPLICAS OF CHARACTERS AND NARRATOR

The article sequentially compares the replicas of the narrator and the characters of the Czech film Lotrando a Zubejda, that is, the flow of speech that one hears from the screen, with the titles accompanying these replicas. It should be noted that the elements of the so called Common Czech (= Czech colloquial koine) and dialectisms, abundantly represented in the named stream of speech, are replaced by Standard Czech expressions in the the corresponding titles.
