3‐2: Invited Paper: Current Technologies and Developments of AR Optics

In the current metaverse era, the key to producing AR glasses is to make the device lightweight so that it is comfortable to wear, and energy efficient so that it can operate for long time. This paper introduces two of the most widely used optic structures; waveguide and birdbath structures, and one additional optic structure which has the advantages of the two former structures; PinTILT TM .
