摘要
A novel cyan long-persistent phosphor Ba6BO3Cl9:Eu2+, Er3+ was developed. Co-doping with Er3+ significantly increased the trap depth, the thermoluminescent properties and persistent luminescence of the samples were also enhanced. All fluorescence spectra of co-doped samples showed only one emission band at 455 nm. It was attributed to the 5d-4f transitions of Eu2+ ions. The afterglow of the samples can be sustained above 1.5 h at optimal doping concentration and sufficient UV excitation. Additionally, mechanoluminescent properties of Ba6BO3Cl9:Eu2+, Er3+ were also observed, demonstrating that Ba6BO3Cl9 is a luminescent substrate. The dual luminescent properties of this material provide theoretical support for future research on new cyan multifunctional luminescent materials.
